New feature: Enumerations

Enumerations are a very common and important part of software development and we’ve just made them a part of our no-code features.

An enumeration is a complete, ordered listing of all the items in a collection. The term is commonly used to refer to a listing of all of the elements of a set. Enumerations in our platform will allow you to create ordered lists of fixed values that live inside the platform (as opposed to our web component X, that allows you to list platform-external values)

As of version 3.0.275, Enumerations are an integral part of our no-code modelling experience. Here’s how the new feature will appear on its several interfaces.

Modeler Menu Option

With the latest platform version, your modelling area will now feature a new option, titled "Enumerations", where you'll find all configurations to start using this new feature in your business applications.

Add enumeration as an Attribute

Adding an enumeration as an attribute of an entity is as simple as adding any other type of attributes. In this update, the "Add New" attribute features a forth new option, "Enumeration".

End-user Interface

Last but not least this new feature will be presented to the users with this simple output, allowing for a simple option selection and an intuitive interface. All elements of the UI are translatable.

See here what UI Behaviours you can apply to this new feature.
